Date: Tuesday February 3rd, ("Rain" Date: TBD)
Time: 9:00AM to 3:00PM
On this interactive, full day workshop outside, we'll get to know the non-human animals that we share this part of the planet with by slowing down and looking closely at the tracks and signs (evidence other than tracks) that they leave behind. The day will be structured similarly to the Cybertracker Certification but without the actual test. Bob will show us some track, scat, or sign. After everyone has written down their answers, we'll debrief on all that we observed. (Folks are encouraged to write down their answers, but don't need to share them and will not be turning them in.) The Quabbin Reservoir is a rich natural environment with a lot to offer, explore, and learn from. Led by Bob Etzweiler, Vermont Wilderness School, CyberTracker Specialist certified.
